Best out there and best price. Hope they keep up with the same quality, light weight , dishwasher/microwave safe and price. Those four points were super important to me.

These would get an overall 5 and as far as value goes, they do, but for porcelain they are kind of thick, more like a ceramic cup and saucer. This may not matter to most. The one other thing - the base of the cup is smaller than the recess in the saucer where it sits so it doesn't "seat" firmly. It can slide around a little when you carry a full cup and saucer together. It's not a big deal, but it may matter to some, so I mention it. Overall - an excellent value, look nice, sturdy and great for everyday.

This is a complete set of 4 porcelain cups with matching saucers. Right off the bat, the package received was in good condition. Each item was individually wrapped to prevent breakage. Not that I was worried about it because if it breaks I know Amazon will take care of it. Nevertheless, the individual attention paid to individually wrapping each item separately was a great practice. So that was a great start right off the bat.The item was marked dishwasher safe. I have washed mine on the top rack and it turned out perfectly fine. That was also great! The cup is about 8 oz but probably you are looking at 6 or 7 oz filling of coffee/tea to prevent spilling. The saucer works to help with that, of course. A little spoon on the side (my own spoon), couple of biscuit cookies, a cup of espresso... perfect weekend morning relaxation.8 OZ is about the correct size for a sip of tea or espresso/americano. I have other mugs measuring 12 or 16 ozs but they are just too big sometimes for a full-sized drink. But this really is depending on how you drink your favorite beverages. To me, a small shot of espresso with milk and cream to make an 8 oz creamy Americano is my cup of "tea". Ha~Ok back to the product - light weight as promised - porcelain, that's why. It is lighter weight than your typical ceramic mugs. I like that. It offers a classy look and a classy feel. The creamy white porcelain color is perfect for dinner setting as well.Note that the cups are NOT stackable. The handle shape and design made it so that these cups don't stack well at all. I would not recommend stacking them in any way. Not that I typically stack any of my cups or mugs anyway. However, just want to mention this because many people have limited cabinet space they stack their cups and mugs. These cups here are not very good for stacking. You do want to make sure you have surface area to store them each individually. Regardless, it's not a problem--just an observation and a noteworthy discovery.Lastly, durability and value for the money .. As with all porcelain products, take care to not bump or drop them--they should last a very long time. As for the value .. Each set will run you about $5. It's about the cost of a mug nowadays so it's not bad. I'd give the value for your money a 4 or 4.5 star. Very giftable, 5-star rating. Quality of manufacturing - 4.5 or 5 stars. Light and classy: 5 stars. Easy to use and wash: 5 stars. So, all things considered, a 5-star rating is well-deserved.Thanks for reading! Hope you like your set as well!

I drink a lot of tea and herbal tea, and these porcelain cups are perfect for an 8oz serving. They are fairly lightweight compared to some. I really like the simple design. The porcelain is not too thick (which I like) and feels quite durable. If you like the way this set looks in the photos, then you can't go wrong, especially for a mere $20.
