Unfortunately my old hiking pants got too small so I liked the elastic waist in these. Also it has sufficient pockets and fold up bottoms. They are thin and it was a very cold day so I wore stretch pants underneath them. This was very comfortable but they had a tendency to slide down a bit I'm hoping this will not be the case in warmer weather when I don't need to wear the stretch pants under them. Once I have an opportunity to wear them in warm weather I will probably be buying another pair. I bought dark Moss which in my opinion is more of a dark gray. I like it very much but would like to get another option as well. I am planning some overseas travel and I think they're lightweight and lack of wrinkles will come in handy.

These are the perfect blend of utility and cuteness! Great fit and the elastic with a drawstring kept water from seeping onto my skin during our rafting trip. These pants are so comfortable and the material is thick enough to keep you warm and dry. There are so many pockets to carry the essentials but not too many to add bulkiness to your body. I bought the black for out trip but ordered the blue when I got back home!!

Basically I like these slacks....lightweight, should be comfortable.....however the zipper is sewn in improperly, so the zipper will not stay zipped! Very inconvenient. And there is something about the fabric that is itchy. And it is itchy enough to be quite uncomfortable. Those two things have caused me to give these slacks a lower rating. I would not recommend purchasing these slacks.

I like the material. I originally ordered the medium but they were too snug around the waist. Large are much more comfortable but a little big. I’m keeping them anyway they’re great for everyday wear and travel.
