As pictured, as described. I bought these to use for crafts. I saw someone said the heat tool melted the plastic, so I tried. It did not melt or bend even at high heat. I would not put hot metal, like the tip of a glue gun on them. I bought mine for my sketchbooks and painting projects. I immediately cut a number of sheets down to fit perfectly in my sketchbooks to prevent ghosting or transfer. They are thin enough that they don't damage the book, and smooth enough that they do not leave texture. I am very happy with my purchse.

I use these to line my kitchen shelves and pantry. The pantry has a "grate" shelf so things fall through. Putting these in there prevents that from happening, keeps crumbs off the floor and is easy to clean. I cut them down to fit in the drawers too. I have a brand new white quartz countertop that I'm afraid will stain (I know, it shouldn't!) so I put these close to the stove when cooking. Easy clean-up! Works great!

My pantry has wire shelving and I’m not crazy about it. Small items tip over which is a pain if it is way in the back part of the shelving. I decided to look for something to put down on the wire shelves that would keep things from falling over and would be a cheap and easy fix. These placemats work like a charm. Can goods move easier and slide without much effort. They are not thick but not flimsy either. Things no longer get caught between the wire shelving. It is such an easy and inexpensive fix for me. The best part if you spill something on these mats a bit of water and a paper towel cleans them right up. For what I am using them for they are great. They are a hazy almost see through type of mat. Since the shelving is white these blend right in I’m happy with their appearance and protection. It was just what I was looking for.
