I bought one for under my virgin media hub to switch all the gadgets in the living room and it has worked well with no issues for a number of years.We have the house wired for cat5 and the home office had run out of ports so I needed to replace a 5 port switch with this 8 port. No problem. It is plug and play and just worked.
