Well constructed nice looking pot (1.6 L). Although it will hold 1.6 liters, you probably would not ever want to fill it that full if you are going for a full rolling boil. My test boil used a cheap $20 backpack stove and 1 L of ice water from the refrigerator. A full rolling boil was achieved in just 1 minute and 58 seconds with 23 g of propane consumed. I also have a jetboil canister stove System and a Jetboil pot with heat exchanger. This boils water faster and will, for me, now replace both. Having a spout and nice handle are an added plus.Caveat: For the test above, the base of the pot ( not the heat exchanger rim) rested directly on the stove pot support arms. The inner diameter of the heat exchanger is 5”. If the pot supports for your stove are wider than that, it will not fit inside the heat exchanger ring which will raise the bottom of the pot about an inch above the flame. Making it far less efficient.

Very light weight and wasn’t quite sure if the quality at the start. After two weeks of camping it’s the best thing ever. My sister in law requested one as well.

I gave this Tentock Outdoor Fast Heating Kettle a test run before turning it over to the Boy Scout Troop. I was able to boil 1 quart of tap water, using a Trangia Alcohol Stove in a Clikstand, in just under 7 minutes. The test was done in a garage in mild temps with no wind and the Kettle was impressive in the test of 4 cups of cold tap water. This kettle is well constructed and the heat fins do make a difference in heat retention. This Kettle is a Buy for anyone looking for a light backpacking kettle that will get the job done in little time.I did not receive this item for free or at a discount nor did I receive any compensation for my honest revies of this Tentock Outdoor Kettle
