Fit was perfect. What makes it good is that you can adjust the waist with the buttons. Son is 9 years old and i ordered size 12. Fitted below the knee. Good product.

These shorts are just the right length for my skinny 7th grade grandson. They come just below his knees, and are not tight fitting.If you have an all legs, no hip boy these fit and look great!!!! Easy to put on!!!

My boys love these shorts... having been wearing the same style for years. I recently bought a pair for my 10 yr old daughter and she lives in them. Neutral colors make them great for girls too and they're not cut off so short like most girls shorts, so she can run and play and climb trees while still being comfortable.
