A collection of professional quality color photos of various consoles, their internals, gamepads and some peripherals. Though IMO instead of internal photos of every playstation or xbox gamepad they should have placed more than one photo of some older things like MSX.It gives too much space to the new stuff, in my opinion. Compared to the version 1 of the book this one at least has ZX Spectrum, VIC-20, MSX. Still no Amiga or ST, though there are CD32, CDTV. And there are several VTech consoles, too many if you ask me. Does anyone even care about those?Also, compared to the V1 it has a short retrogaming section with photos of mini-consoles, Everdrives, even a PVM monitor.They removed a few things in this version, but nothing too important. Removed 2-page photo of Switch, moved red Wii to the appendix chapter..There's one extra complaint. Not about the book but about Amazon. The cover of the book has a few minor scratches that could only happen before it was packed. Polish Amazon disappoints me yet again.

I bought this book over a year ago and love flipping through the pages every now and then seeing all the consoles and PCBs puts a huge smile on my face.

Llevo antes de tiempo. Recomendado para todos los fanáticos de los juegos. Es más un apartado técnico.

Il est en anglais certes, mais pas bien dure à comprendre. Mais c est surtout les photos qui sont d enfer. Pour les fans nostalgiques c est un must have. Se replonger dans l histoire des pc/consoles d avant jusqu’à PS5 c est magique. Je recommande a tous les fans meme si on ne comprend rien en anglais.

Otimo livro para quem é retrogamer, merecia uma tradução para português BR, mas para quem não sabe muito língua inglesa, livro intuitivo e de fácil entendimento?!
