Excelentes piezas, bolsa y tapete de ajedrez. Mi única exclamación es que la bolsa no es la bolsa con el logo de House of Staunton, y es un poco más chica que la bolsa oficial de House of Staunton.

Pieces, roll up board and carrying case all good quality. I prefer a wooden set at home but this is fine for playing away.

Only problem is the mat when folded and stored afterwards it wrinkles a bit and isn't completely flat

This is a great set for chess club. The kids enjoy this set and can take it anywhere. The weight of the pieces is wonderful. There is extra room in the bag for a clock/timer and a notebook or other items. This was a well worthwhile purchase that I can see lasting quite some time if not forever. The board is very nice and easy to roll and unroll. It lays nice and flat and is heavy enough not to move around during play. This was a good investment.

It is a good weighted set and the chess pieces are the classic Staunton design. Plus it comes with two extra queens, and while beginners may not realize this, it is not that uncommon to have two queens on the board at the same time, so it is quite nice to have two extra queens for that reason. The board is good enough and I have had no problems with it, and the case is fine two, and has a strap for easy carrying.I have played chess for many years and was once rated just below master, so I have played quite a lot of games and have had many different chess sets. This one is a good full-sized travel set for the price.Quite reasonable and a very playable chess set.

A decent package deal considering other options / prices available. However, a few things to mention. The bases were hollowed and weights poured/placed/glued inside, then thin felt glued over the bottom, sometimes a bit off-center. You can still feel a hollow in the center, but I've noticed no loose / rattling parts inside. You can see in the pictures that the hooks/rings on the straps are plastic, and I don't imagine they would bear much weight. The bag is lightly padded, which should be enough to protect against incidental contact, but I shouldn't like to test it against dropping a clock onto a hard surface from shoulder height. Other bags might have partitioned pockets for carrying books or notepads, but this bag has just a single long pocket (as well as the lightly padded compartments for pieces and chess clock). The hooks and rings on the straps are plastic, so will not bear *too* much weight, but that shouldn't be an issue for the weight of the set, board, chess clock, and perhaps a couple light books. I'm not sure my big mechanical clock will fit in the bag, but the bag will fit most other clocks I've seen. The rooks look odd to me, and I don't like the stark whiteness of the light pieces. But the pictures do show what you get.
