Se pueden lograr diferentes viscosidades variando la cantidad de THI-VEX. THI-VEX se añade como porcentaje de la parte A y debe mezclarse a fondo con las piezas A y B. THI-VEX no funciona con las siliconas Mold Max 40 o Mold Max 60.

I don't need to use it that often so a bottle will last me for years. Yes it still works well after a few years after opening. A little goes a long way. Add some drops to your silicone and stir it, in a few seconds you will know if it has thickened enough. If not, add a bit more. I like using it for brush on molds. I put a thin layer of silicone (without the thivex added) and then add the thivex thickened layers until I have the desired thickness (let it cure about 75%-90% before adding more layers) It will save you a lit of money in the end especially on large molds and prototypes. I am a big fan of thivex. Note: this is for platinum cured silicones. I have used it with tin cured silicones and unfortunately it never thickened it.
