Plastic is very thin. I'm concerned it'll tear from the wires on the arms.The first attempt to put it up failed, with the top part pulley system strings slack and hanging out.I put it up slowly the next time, and it worked. Strange, somewhat unreliable mechanism.Doesn't come with a pouch either.I'll use it for now, being very gentle, but it wouldn't surprise me if it ripped.The mechanism I can handle (as long as it keeps working), it just needs much thicker plastic and a travel pouch.

clear plastic is too flimsy, tore on first use at seam, looks like a sharp edge in the mechanism caught and tore plastic at seam in first use itself

I’ll start by saying that when the umbrella is open, it works great. With that said getting the umbrella open is a real challenge at first I thought it was just my 10 year old having trouble opening it, but when I gave it a try myself, even I had trouble getting the umbrella to stay open, it seems that the little clip at the top that is supposed to lock the umbrella in place doesn’t really work as it should. You have to really fiddle with it. In addition, when you want to close the umbrella, it’s very tough to secure the umbrella with the strap. It’s almost like there’s too much umbrella material, it’s thick. I had to hold it up against my chest while rolling the umbrella around with the strap to secure it closed - ended up getting my shirt all wet, lol. Like I said though, when it’s open it works great! :)

good umbrella. Works in rainy weather. You can put it in your school bag or handbag. You can put it in the car. Good quality. Lightweight . I liked
