I have two young children and have PPD. I'm also a therapist, and I struggle with feeling overwhelmed and "not enough" for my growing family. I bought these after my self-made affirmation cards were ruined a few months ago. The messages on these have helped a lot with recent stressors, helping me focus on the positive things that are happening. I've been keeping one at a time at my desk so I can focus on just one thing at a time.They are very well made, heavy matted card stock, not cheap at all. I really appreciate that the messages are simple and broad enough to cover many situations while also feeling tailored to specific needs and feelings. It's been a simple, fulfilling way for me to self care and be reminded that my experiences, while overwhelming at times, are not unique and help me feel connected to millions of others who have been through these struggles. There's a universality in the affirmations on the cards that has been a good touchstone for me.

First, I want to say that I absolutely love these cards. They're beautiful in design, have simple yet powerful messages, and I appreciate the stand that comes with it for displaying a daily affirmation of your choice. At first, I wasn't very happy that the backs of all of the cards says "notes" at the top with a bunch of lines under it for writing... I usually like a pretty design to look at when I'm shuffling my cards to draw one... However, that having been said, after reading the enclosed card that explains the different ways that these cards can be used, I now have an appreciation for those note lines, as I've come to understand that they're meant for times that you want to "share the love" - they print those lines on the backs of the cards so that if you want to give somebody else a card to uplift their mood, you're able to also add a personalized note on the back, and I think that is just an absolutely magical concept, and I'm 100% back on board. Love, love, LOVE that detail. In fact, in all honesty, it made me want to buy an additional deck, so that I can have one for myself at home, and another to keep in my bag for sharing positive affirmations with others that may seem to need them. Absolutely brilliant. If you're considering buying these cards, please do. (an extra note, for those of you English-speakers who care: the spelling and grammar is correct on these, haha)The only problem I've noticed, is that the advertisement is inconsistent on these (perhaps just a typo). The main description says 35 cards, but the fine print and box state 30 cards... It's 30 cards. So, maybe someone just needs to fix that small detail in the headline; but otherwise, I love this deck and would absolutely recommend them.
