The very first trip to the woods after I bought these, my husband got a tick. He said this was quick and effective though the process did hurt.

I am a regular hiker, and tend to get ticks. Removal has always been an ordeal, and you never know for sure if you got the entire tick. Bought some of these for my hiking buddies and myself, and just had the first chance to use one. It worked like a champ! Easy, and after removing the tick that little bugger started walking away, so I know that I got the entire thing. Still had the bump and itch for a few days, but won't be without this gadget moving forward.

After moving to the country we have noticed alot of ticks around our porch and through out our property. We had 1 bite early on and struggled to remove it from my 3 year old daughter. After that episode we purchased these Tick Keys to facilitate easier removal of the ticks, should we have bites in the future. Hoping we never have to use these, but we now have one in each of our bathrooms and in every first aid kit we own. The key is made from durable anodized aluminum making it very durable and easy to clean before and after use. These should stand up well for many years.** Update **We have now effortlessly removed several ticks from every member of our family. I also gave one to a friend who spends time outdoors and he has already put it to use. He said this was much easier to use than the tick removal tweezers he had used before.
