I got these mostly for keeping warm during the fall/winter surf fishing season but I’m also getting into duck hunting so the special features like slots for 12Gauge shells in the main body and the safety belt will soon come in handy.I was concerned about sizing. I have a super wide 4E foot and usually get size 10 4E shoes and boots. Because I expect to wear heavy wool socks I ordered a size 11 boot wader. The chest and inseam are based off of the boot size. I am 5’10” and currently 210 pounds. Waste is 38 -39 inches. This size 11 wader fit me perfectly. I especially liked that the shoulder bib and straps are attached to stretchable straps on the back but change over to standard heavy duty nylon on the front where the buckles are. It’s easy to get a good fit for the bib but the stretch feature allows for comfortable fit when bending over and reaching.There is a large, deep pocket on the front with access from both sides just behind the logo and shell keeper device. This is separated from the inside so it could also be used as a storage place for gloves or hand warmers, flask or dog treats.The boots are fully rubber and have a steel shank. It mentions they are cleated but that does north mean metal spikes, the treads are grippy. See picture. The knees and the inner crotch area are reinforced with an extra layer of neoprene. And some extra padding is added to the knee area for comfort. As noted in my heading the neoprene material has extra thickness (unlike that used for a thin summer surfer’s wet suit) for added warmth and durability. It also seems to be stretchier them some neoprene materials meaning it will be comfortable to wear sitting down in a duck blind or boat seat. This set of waders was clearly designed for the comfort of the hunter.The water ingress prevention safety belt is heavy duty and wide nylon with a very secure buckle. The belt also has slots for holding 12 g shotgun shells.The box included a second pair of size 11 sole liners along with a strap system for hanging the waders upside down to dry out. See pictures showing the hanger strap in simulated use. Also there was a water proof pouch in the box to slip my phone into for safe keeping. On the front of the bib, on the inside, there is a large zippered pouch for the phone and keys and other documents. See pictureAnd it came with a neoprene repair kit with the matching camo real tree design and the necessary glue and instructions. Very satisfying set.

I am 6'2" 185 lbs, shoe size 11 (slightly less) and ordered the size 11 which fit my frame just right.What I like:+Warm. Extra thickness for cold waters.+Reinforced areas that are likely to experience the most wear and from mid thighs down.+Has an inside chest pocket that flip out over the bib and zippers shut. It appears to be water resistant.+Heavy duty boots.+Quality material, uses 3M.+Comes with detachable belt as well as a drying strap to hang by the boots.+Outside chest pocket (I wouldn't mind it being a little deeper) with a drainage hole in the center.Good for hunting no doubt, but I picked these up primarily for fishing. 5 star recommend.

These are a bit taller than he needed, but a size down would likely have been too tight, or too short in the feet. Otherwise, these will keep him dry while wading in streams while fishing or metal detecting. He has a pair of wading boots, but those don't necessarily keep him dry, so this is a good solution. These waders are plenty thick, so far don't leak, are a good material, the boots are thick and sturdy, and they have a pocket for a cell phone and another for misc. stuff. The knee pads for kneeling are a good addition as he often kneels down on his bare knees-this is a marked improvement.They're well made and well sewn, and a good product at a fair price.
