Nice quality keycaps, the Japanese characters are a neat feature even if you don't use them. If you like a darker look for your keyboard then this a cool set to have. PBT caps so they are much more durable than abs. I always appreciate a set that includes 1u alt, Ctrl, and fn keys. Again, PBT, so the sound is less clacky as you would hear with a cheaper or thin keycaps.

Nice print, well made keys, although unfortunately I somehow got 2 “Up” keys and no down key. You might wonder why I don’t just flip it- partly due to the slope of the key being wrong, and partly due to the OCD-like frustration I have at the key being staggered compared to its inverse. I'll simply use one of the novety keys in its place.Otherwise, these keys appear to let light thru, although I have them mounted on an unlit board at the moment- a simply flashlight shows the English letter clearly allows light thru. Feel is good. Just never go down. ;)

So I don't speak or write in Japanese, but I love the aesthetic of this set and was looking to replace an old, worn down set of ABS caps on one of my boards. So far, I've only been using them for a few days, but I can already tell how much of an upgrade they are over my old set. The font is large and sharp, so they have very good legibility. The design is really cool, and I love the cultural flair used for the major keycaps such as the "rising sun over Mount Fuji" on the escape key, and the "wisps of wind" on the enter and Windows keys. I've always had an affinity towards Japanese culture, so seeing Hiragana characters on something I use every day is a real treat for me.As for build-quality, they feel very high-end to type on. The ABS plastic is extremely thick, and I estimate these to be around 50% thicker than my old set. As a result, they seem to cause a bit less reverberation when bottoming out on my Keychron C3 Pro. They're definitely more quiet to type on and have a deeper pitched register as well, which is great in my book.If I had to complain about something, I do wish they had some aspect of shine-through built in to the keycaps. I get they were leaning more towards a minimal aesthetic in their design, but most keyboards have some form of backlight and this keycap set can't really take advantage of that. I can't really fault them too much for their design choice however, because they nailed just about every other facet of the motif, and having shine-through text on both English and Hiragana characters would probably be difficult and expensive to do. So it's an easy 5/5 stars from me.

These keycaps are decently thick and they fit well and sound good. The spacebar is straight, sometimes you can get warped space bars, the printing of the legends is a little bit off center on some keys, nothing to noticeable though. That doesn’t make them unusable to me, but others may be bothered by it. They come sorted in plastic trays and come in a plain cardboard box, all of the letters have Japanese symbols on them also which I myself will not use, but if you were to use them, I have noticed that some of the Japanese symbols are swapped around, doubled or missing. But overall, I feel that these work well for me and I am pleased with them.
