Beautiful and soft. Light weight, but still very absorbent. The quality is nice and the size is larger than most. Definitely worth the money for this product.

I ordered this massive beach towel to use with my beach towels of the same color (fancy, I know) The quality of the beach towel is that of any well made Turkish towel, lightweight medium stitch (sturdy but not too stiff) and made of 100% cotton. I am feeling the affect of everything from clothes to textiles being made of some sort of plastic, it is nice to get back to nature. This blanket is large and could fit multiple people laying or sitting on it. Turkish towels/blankets are thinner than a typical towel but I always assume you are laying out to dry, and not using them to soak up a massive amount of water. Plus, this blanket folds up very well so you don't feel like you are hefting around a sleeping bag to the beach. 5 stars all the way!

The size is 6 feet long and almost 6 feet wide with fringe strings. It is very thin so would have limited use as a “blanket”. The product webpage refers to “cotton blend” but the tag says “100% cotton”. A blend means a mixture of cotton and one or more of the following: polyester, spandex, modal or linen. The washing instructions state hand wash or machine wash warm – do not tumble dry. It is very light weight. The product webpage states that sand shakes off – the next time we head to the beach, we will test this. This oversized towel will serve well for trips to the beach, picnics and even camping for ground cover.

This towel is fantastic to use at the beach or for covering furniture. We have used it on our front porch to cover a bench. When going to the beach this style of towel is great to lay out on the sand. All it takes is a quick shake and much of the sand is gone. It can serve as a wrap if we need something to cover us going back to the car.If something is needed to lay out for a picnic this Turkish towel works great. It does not take up much room and covers a good area. Very nice product and we love the color.

Took this on a beach vacation with us. It was handy for being a blanket, towel etc. Not too thin and nice and big. Carried it with us everywhere, and it helped us out the one day we went on a boat ride and we forgot our towels. Held up fine in the wash so far.
