My four year old grandson absolutely loves this tonic wrecking ball. He builds towers then knocks down with it. It is of sturdy construction and the wrecking ball is plastic so it has to be swung kind of hard but it is safe around other children. We did have to tie the ball back onto the string a few times but that could be because it is his favorite toy in my home. The first thing he pulls out and the last thing we put up. Tonka Trucks are definitely a brand that can take a beating, and this toy certainly has! A great toy for little construction lovers!

The Tonka Steel Wrecking Ball was a gift for the son of a friend, and he loved it! The sturdy design means it can withstand hours of eager play, and the realistic wrecking ball action kept him amused as he knocked down his imaginary buildings. It's more than just a toy; it helps kids learn fine motor skills and spatial awareness while they tell stories. It was so much fun to see him plan his "demolition projects!" It's a great present for kids who like building things and having fun with lots of different activities. I really think you will enjoy it and learn a lot from it!

As a child growing up in the 70’s I actually had to ‘play with toys’ and the two that I couldn’t put down were my Action Man and my Tonka ‘Backhoe Excavator’ (road digger).All those years ago I used to throw that Tonka around everywhere and was forever digging holes in the garden with it.It was absolutely bombproof and when I outgrew it, I passed it on, so someone else could get just as much fun from it as I had.Fast forward over 40 years and I understandably jumped at the opportunity to review this modern-day Wrecking Ball, in the hope that Tonka would once again put a big smile on my face – they did!This is what I remember my childhood to be… playing with a huge metal behemoth of a toy that I could do absolutely anything with and not worry about it breaking.I’m delighted to report that Tonka remains exactly how I remember it to be and it still has that huge attraction, even in this day of internet & screens. There’s just something about their big yellow toys that really sets them apart.This Wrecking Ball is no exception and while you can’t put a price on creating childhood memories, costing just £31.00 at time of review (with discount) makes this even more attractive.This Tonka has been built to withstand some serious punishment while still providing years of play, making it very easy to recommend. I love it!
