I needed a MTX bag big enough for my spare bike battery but Topeak doesn't have one so I attached this to another bag. Had to drill holes but it worked perfectly. It is meant for their basket.

Initially I was very disappointed when this item arrived. It's way too short/small to mount a medium to larger basket to the back of your bike. If it was specifically intended for the one or two baskets TOPEAK offers then why not just build it into those baskets and reduce the overall cost? In my opinion this product was not worth the asking price. I have since then used one of these Fixer 6 units to mount a hard-shell waterproof case and I am going to update my rating to five stars instead of one at this time. It is a solid, rugged mount that with a little imagination, a drill and some epoxy can be used in a variety of ways and it works very well. It takes a lot for me to change my mind on a product, but the Fixer 6 (although not 100% ideal) is a 98.5% solution if you are a bit handy in the garage. I still think it's a bit pricey, but you are buying a product specifically setup to work with TOPEAK MTX mount brackets so given that, it represents a reasonable deal. If you were wanting to use this bracket with it's intended basket or get a little creative, I'm certain you'll be pleased with the results.

Ya tenia el rack Topeak para una rejilla, pero tenia una bolsa de una marca genérica que no se ajustaba bien solo con los velcros. Compré el adaptador y se lo instalé a la bolsa genérica con algunos ajustes y me funcionó muy bien.

I bought this to fix a rattan basket on the rear rack. While waiting for Taobao to deliver the plastic rattan lookalike basket, I am using an Amazon box as a stopgap solution. The box is covered with cheap wallpaper from Taobao. Great thing I tried the fixer on the box as I forgot this was meant for the Topeak basket, which expects an incline on the side. I use velcro to hold the side that clips to the Topeak rack. I have used this on light trail and it has held up well so far.

I read many reviews before getting it and knew with would have beena 50/50 % chance. There are better solutions out there at a cheaper price. I would not suggest this item.
