Very sturdy, well built, used quality materials. Only issue was a couple assembly instructions took a couple minutes to figure out.

I knew I was gambling on quality based on price and other reviews and got it anyway since I'm on a budget but this desk is honestly worse than I expected. I am a small woman. I feel like if I rest my elbows on this it will break. The drawers, sliding tray, and storage compartments are super flimsy. Many sections of the desk are so flimsy they were bent out of shape upon arrival. I had to bend them back with my hand during assembly. You can see sections that were soldered together but only a dot of soldering was used and the rest is an open joint. I'm not sure if I even dare use this desk, holding my breath for the day it crumbles under me or if I cut my losses and just immediately get rid of it. It might suffice for young kids who don't weigh much - but I wouldn't leave them unattended with the desk in case they decide to climb on it. Seriously. I have met paper with more durability. The only good thing I can say is that assembly is pretty straight forward, though the instructions are occasionally not great and I had to supplement some screws that were missing. Took me about an hour to set up by myself.Save yourself some time and money and draw on the floor.

I just LOVE this desk. It does everything I need and it's very pretty instead of clunky.

I checked all components before assembling, and found that nothing, even the glass table top, was broken. I put this drafting table together by myself, and it wasn't too bad. I'd say that attaching the legs together would have been much easier with another person. If you get frustrated easily and/or are unable to use both arms, both legs, and the wall to assemble a piece of furniture, I'd say get help at least for the first parts. The pencil ledge part is fine. I just wish there was another setting to put it even higher since I use my artist clipboard when painting to not get paint on the drafting table, and it goes right to the top of the "up" setting of the ledge, so I can't paint at a steeper angle than the first setting.I like all the storage capabilities of the desk. I've got a number of art supplies I can fit in.One of the negatives I'll say is that, once assembled, I can't adjust the height of the table on my own. I can't figure it out. I'm not about to disassemble the table just to fix the height. I'm glad it's at the highest height and I got a drafting chair so that I can both stand and sit at that height. Just be cautious when you're assembling it. Also, FYI, when using a drafting chair, the two drawers aren't a problem with knee space because your knees are at an angle, at least, when it's higher. This was one of very few modern-looking drafting tables that had a decent weight limit on the top, and so far, so good! I was leaning on it sometimes when painting, and it held fine. I'm not about to test the limits of it, but I'm glad all my painting needs are fairly well satisfied.
