I replaced by original Lenovo touchpad on my Thinkpad T540p. The new replacement purchased from Amazon works exactly like the original one. I can't detect any differences except that the replacement is a bit quieter when I click it - and that is a good thing!

The touchpad I received has three buttons at the top, not the buttonless pad presented in the photos. The buttons do not work, and I've tried everything I can think of with drivers, configs, settings. I don't really use the buttons often, so it's no big deal for me. Otherwise this touchpad works fine (Synaptics driver 19.3.4.226 on T440).
