Removed seat from bag to find several metal pieces which has fallen out of the adjustable sliding tube. Tube fell apart to the ground. Also found that the material the seat is made out of is very loud and would not be good for hunting and it still has the cheap plastic clip for the straps and not the metal one that they are advertising. Save you money and buy something else.

I bought this for my hubby. It was really easy to assemble but watching him sit on it for the first time was a show. I decided to give it a try and I will say it wasn’t the most comfortable for me but I’m not the one using it. It works as it should. It’s not huge in size so it’s easy to carry into the woods.

If you hunt on the ground, you need this seat! Takes up as much space at a folding umbrella. Weights nearly nothing, and sets up in about 20 secs. Very comfortable, and let's you lean side to side, to get a better shot. I do use a cushion from an old lock on stand, not for comfort, but it keeps the hammock open when I stand up. I also changed out the strap, (the thin buckle didn't break with me, but not giving it a chance), to a 1" cinch type strap from the automotive section at Walmart ($5), I then opened the hooks and removed them, and took an aluminum carbiner to attach both ends of the strap around the tree, then cinch tight. May be over kill, and you might have a tougher plastic clip buckle you can put on the factory strap. Either way, I really enjoy this seat. Very adjustable for height off the ground, and how much you want to lean back. You can set it real low for turkey hunting. Buy it. You won't even know it's in your pack.

Start with the cons the plastic buckle was no good as previous reviews had reported. So I bought a no-sew metal buckle to replace it. Other than that I love the chair been using it for deer hunting for a while now very comfortable quick and easy set up

Let me start by saying the material of the seat itself is good. The pole that you can extend and goes at the bottom of the tree base is also good BUT the buckle, clip, clasp, whatever you want to call it, that clips around the tree at the top is strong enough to hold a kid...not a 200 lb person. Sat in it 1 time and it broke. I am purchasing my own to fix it it.
