The twins unit (Deco X60) definitely works better than a single router for my home which is narrow but long. The coverage is a lot better than my old one in terms of the signal strength and stability. On the side,I also like their look, rounded and stabled to be placed anywhere compared with those conventional designs. Happy with the purchase.

This is a same-day review so take it with a grain of salt. I already had an Archer TP-Link ax11000 router in my basement and wanted to bump the signals around the rest of my house so I decided to grab this 2 pack mesh system. I have it hardwired from the basement router to my family room and then the other one I put upstairs. I love how fast it is to set these up, while I am somewhat disappointed that Deco has its own app rather than using tether which is what I use for the archer router (same company), it's not a big deal as Deco seems like a great app initially. The setup was quick and painless and also introduced me to a new feature I had no idea about which is smart connect. It is great to be able to have the device manage traffic within the bands by itself and creates a more organized and easy to use experience when different users see and connect to the wifi in your home. Before I had 3 different bands downstairs and 2 different bands for the rest of the house, now it's only 1 wifi signal for the basement and 1 for the rest of the house. In fact, the smart connect on the Deco made me update my tether app and my router firmware and revealed that it also had the smart connect feature now. Otherwise, the speed itself is great, especially since it's hardwired to the basement router, I notice no drops in speed or signal / connectivity. Great system so far.

UPDATE:So I've had this for 6 months now and works great. I had to reboot the 2nd node once, about a month ago as it wasn't connecting to the main node.I have 1GB internet and did speed test by the main node, I still get about 650 to 750mbps using wifi6 phone and laptop. Upstairs bedroom (above main node), I get about 450mbps to 500mbps. Upstairs back bedroom (above 2nd node), I get about 300 to 370mbps. Garage (50 ft away), I get about 30 to 60mbps. This is using wifi6 devices. When using wifi5 devices, I get about 370 to 450mbps by main node, 150 to 250mbps upstairs back room. The app is good as it has different features: add automation, shortcuts to do an action like turn on wifi plugs/lights/devices, parents control, change application priority, etc. The application priority can be set to what is mostly used for such as gaming, streaming, standard, surfing, etc.Drawback is that this is only dual band so one of the channel is also used as a backhaul. You can do a wired backhaul but these only have 2 ethernet ports on each node so you are using up 1 port on each. There is no USB port either so you can't plug a printer, hard drive, etc. These are small and blend well with the home decor and you can have the LED light off.PREVIOUS REVIEWSo far, I've had the 2 pack version for almost 2 weeks and they are faster than the Telus modem I have. I have a 2 floor place (1800 sqft) and both are on the main floor (front and back). The reason is that upstairs isn't as long as the main floor and main floor is open. My office is right above the back node so I was hoping it would be good enough. If I got the 3 pack, the 3rd one would have been in one of the upstairs back room, which would be above the main floor back one.I have 1gb internet and get about 550 to 750mbps speed on main floor, upstair back room is about 150 to 300mbps which is fine for work. With the Telus modem, I would only get 150 to 220 on main and maybe 30 to 60mbps on 2nd floor back room.I will probably test it out a little later and place the 2nd one upstairs back room to see how that goes.So far, no issues with speed and connectivity. I'll update in a few months.

Since I’ve been working from home for almost a year, I noticed my internet speeds to be slow and my wifi would constantly drop. At first I attributed this to my ISP not working well. I tried some wifi extenders which didn’t really help. I finally decided to look into a new router but most of the high end ones were expensive. But I happened to stumble upon this mesh system (dual pack). I liked the look of the devices and price was reasonable. After receiving the package, I was able to get internet up and running fairly quickly with the first device. I did have to reboot my cable modem and login to my wifi again (used same name) so that could have caused delay.Getting the second device installed was pretty fast as well and I put it near my work devices. A minor complaint was the three pack wasn’t available so I ended up buying another pair. I put one device need my living room tv and game machine. All the work is done through an app which is different than old days of using a web GUI. Since the install my internet speeds have been good and signals don’t drop. The devices let you create a main and guest network as well. I use the guest for my 2.4 signal for cameras and other devices that can’t use the newer band. One thing with mentioning: the devices have a blacklist feature but you can’t whitelist. So if some random device appears on the network you can will be notified by the app and then block it. You can’t just create a white list of devices. Some people may not like that. But it works ok for meAll in all, buying two pairs was not cheap but I like the setup. Worth a look!

I purchased the M9+ devices about a year ago for a business that needed wifi and was BLOWN AWAY at the app, ease of setup and most of all, the quality of the internet signal. So when my trusty Nighthawk finally stopped working, I decided to return to this product line for my home. Here are some of the highlights:1. SETUP: I have the main control unit in my basement (2-story 3,200 sq ft home) which has the modem connected to it and then I have an 8-port switch connected to it. I hardwired the second unit to my first level via cat5e (from the switch).2. SPEEDS: Here are the speed comparisons from my old netgear:Ultrabook Laptop - 1st Floor: 300mbps (New) vs 50mbps (Old)TV - 1st Floor: No speed test, but WiFi connection time and load time for apps are about half of what they used to be and we haven't experienced buffering since installing this system.iPhone - 1st Floor - Maximum internet speeds (670mbps) (New) vs 150mbps (Old)iPhone - 2nd Floor - 300mbps (new) vs 25mbps (Old)Daughters Room - 2nd Floor and Furthest away - She got about 10-20mbps on one half of her room with no coverage on the other half. Now she's consistently seeing 250-300mbps no matter where she is. (This is arguably the biggest positive of the house with her being in virtual schooling right now)Needless to say, I'm absolutely blown away at the quality of the devices. The app is wonderful and gives me all the control I could need. Sure, it doesn't have some of the nice technical advanced stuff that I would love, but I just want something that works and still gives me the control and visibility that I want. This system checks all the boxes!!WiFi devices are not created equal. I purchased a more-expensive competitor router that boasted six antennas and WiFi 6 (with MIMO Mesh functionality) and it performed WORSE than the router it replaced. If you're looking for an upgrade with the latest WiFi tech, this is definitely the way to go.
