I require a wired Ethernet connection for work from home. Eero setup I had previously worked perfectly but when I changed isp the eero was returned. I purchased this mesh system to recreate the same setup. Unfortunately it is not stable enough and client calls regularly disconnect. It's fine for casual use, but do not rely on these for work.

Our household doubled in size this past Summer. So, I switched from a VDSL Internet connection to Cable modem connection, in order to accommodate the additional extra internet usage. With that, I decided to build a home wireless network. The TP-Link AX3000 Deco x50 Pro was the perfect choice. Zero dead spots in the house. In fact, now I can take my laptop and work from the garage in the Spring, when the weather gets warm enough. The greatest surprise came in the form of the mobile app, from which you can manage the network and connected devices. Need to block the kids' Internet access, so they get their homework and chores done? Easy! Want to get the latest updates for the access points? Easy! Want to set the access points to ECO mode, because nobody is using the network? Easy! That and so much more. Even better... you can do it remotely... while you're at work, or on vacation.

The Deco X50 PRO is the only sub $500 system properly configured for +1GB Mesh WiFi 6 speeds using Wired Backhaul. More expensive units that only have one or no 2.5 GB port(s) can only get 1GB speed to other mesh nodes. I have installed this X50 Pro on a 4 floor wired townhouse (1st, 2nd and 4th fl) with 1500 Mbps Wifi 6 Mesh EVERYWHERE! Read Dongknows review on this and wonder why systems are being marketed with only one fast port. From trial and error, (thanks Amazon, I believed the marketing the first time around on non dual 2.5 gb ports ) I can tell you that 6e triband wireless backhaul Pro systems do NOT work well as the 6G band does not penetrate through floors or go more than 25 feet, line of sight at high speed. If you can't go wireless backhaul, you do not need the 2.5g ports (non pro versions) as the max you are going to get outside of the controller is sub 1 gb speeds. If you have a wired house, go for the X50/55 Pro version. You may need a 2.5GB 5 port switch depending on your configuration. I am very impressed with this sub $300 3 node system as it gives me the speeds that I am paying for throughout the whole house.

I've only been using a couple weeks, but so far it's been awesome 👌. I've got 2 in the house (bungalow) and 1 in my detached garage approx 35ft away and it hasn't let me down yet. Only down fall is I purchased the ones with only 2 ethernet connections. If you're looking to hardwire more than one appliance to the main you will need a splitter.

This product allows me to have good Wi-Fi coverage throughout the whole house.Though I think the advertised 6000 sf. coverage is a bit optimistic.Set up was extremely easy even for a computer newbie like me.
