Llévalo a cualquier lugar.

The action of the guitar is amazing and it's compactness makes it ideal for the traveling musician. The only design flaw, which is more aesthetic is the flimsy look of the tie-on for the strap- surely there's a better approach. This means I will play it sitting down and strapless as standing up with a strap feels risky. Despite that it's an amazing instrument.

I bought this for no real reason other than I thought it looked pretty cool. That said, I travel a lot, so why not buy one? definitely worth it! Only a few trade offs worth considering: there's no volume or tone control locally, so you're completely dependent on your amp in modifying.I've yet to fly with it so my four stars are based purely on what I know to be beneficial: it's feather-light, very compact and will definitely fit in overhead compartment on flights (if your airline lets you take on ofc). If you place it in hold, it will fit in most suitcases and you can pad the thing with towels etc pretty easily.I genuinely expected it to be fairly awkward to handle, given that it doesn't have any real body to rest your forearm on, though i've not found it to be an issue at all. There will always be more powerful guitars at around the same price, but it more than meets expectations for its intended purpose -something easy to carry around.

Honestly I didn't expect that kind of quality for this cost. It's just outstanding, fret ends are smooth, no fret buzz. Tuning machine is good enough. I didn't even need to adjust string length at the bridge to get it in tune on 12th fret!Keep up good work folks, I really enjoy this guitar! :)

I had bought the Jammy for travelling and it was virtually useless. I found this one and it is perfect. So compact. Fits under the seat and the overhead of a plane no problem. The travel case is good except it looks like a rifle which scares me when walking through European airports where the army patrols with machine guns! The tuning pegs are a bit awkward but it works. Action is good and the guitar is quite playable. I totally recommend it for putting in practice on the road. Can't wait for the pandemic to end.

I have been playing guitar for about 38 years. I stopped for a number of years for a number of reasons, but now I am able to play again. The catch is that I only have time to play when I'm not busy with work or my family. That means when I'm traveling, when I'm on vacation, when I'm waiting around for a few minutes here and there, etc. In January 2019 I started looking at the Traveler Ultralight Acoustic and the Martin Backpacker guitar as possible ways to get a guitar in my hands during those short availabilities. After reading a lot and trying out both at Guitar Center near me I went with the Backpacker, and it was one of the best things I had done in years! The Backpacker was small, easy to play (came set up with .009 strings and good enough action). When we went on vacation the Backpacker came along. When we went for short trips, the Backpacker fit in the van with all the other things. When I came home from work it was easier to leave the Backpacker laying around to be picked up... and it only cost $300, so if it got crushed it was not as much of a burden to replace. So it got me to play a LOT more. After a year of playing with the Backpacker I missed one thing that the Traveler could do. The Traveler was much smaller than the Backpacker and was much more durable. As such, I felt a lot better throwing it into a car for business travel. It was also much quieter, so I was comfortable playing it in a hotel room without concern it would annoy neighbors. Now I'm playing even more with the Traveler because it's smaller, more durable, and quieter. So how does it play? It plays great! The setup is not perfect, and when I find time I'll probably lower the action and file the nut a bit on strings 1, 2, and maybe 3. I'm just estimating, I haven't taken any measurements. But there are no buzzes. The neck feels very nice, and I'm playing more than I did before. I had already gotten used to playing an unbalanced guitar from playing the Backpacker, so that was no trouble for me. I don't often use the lap device. I mostly stand to play as it is more comfortable. The guitar is so small I can walk on my treadmill while practicing and easily move around. That's another bonus for me as I always try to do something else when on the treadmill.I have plugged into an amp but mostly use the guitar acoustically. I am glad I went with the humbucker pickup rather than the single-coil, however, I did not play a guitar with the single-coil so I don't know how it sounds. I did play the Traveler Ultralight Acoustic through an amp and was not pleased with the sound out of the amp. It was not an amp I was familiar with, so it could have been that the amp was not adjusted to my liking, but I suspect I would not be pleased with the pickup in the Traveler Ultralight Acoustic. In all, I am very pleased with this guitar. I get a lot of enjoyment playing more than I would otherwise. It's convenient to use, notes are in-tune, intonation is good, the action is beyond what I would consider acceptable for an instrument in this price range (actually, the whole setup is), I have had no problems with it going out of tune more than my other instruments when the humidity changes. In all, this is an amazing instrument and I'm grateful that Traveler is able to offer such a great value.
