Using all 4 ethernet ports and both sfp+ ports. Everything came up immediately. Fast, low power and quiet.

A very nice, affordable way to upgrade to 10Gbase-SR SFP+ for a couple of hosts. I bought the 10Gtek transceivers, and they worked perfectly.

This device does have better build quality than the other competitors in this price range. I have not opened it up to see how adequate the cooling is, but I would like t put a note out about cooling. If you are going to be using the 10G SFP+ ports, and especially if you are getting the SFP+ to RJ45 Ethernet adapters - i highly suggest you get an external fan for this device. I bought a pair of cheaper competitors for about $45 and I thought they were the reason why my SFP+ to RJ45 were running hot. apparently this is how they are made. to combat this for peace of mind, i currently have a small fan blowing across the switch. For a more elegant solution, I found this and I'll be using this from now on to cool my switch.As far as functionality, it works as expected. I am getting full throughput from the 2.5 and 10g ports. they are able to properly communicate my (now actively) cooled switch in my lab and I enjoy 10gbs speeds to my NAS and in addition to that my two computers in my office will never have to deal with a bottleneck to the rest of my devices in the network thanks to the higher speed capacity of the whole setup. and for those reading this for context:Most of my network is still 1gbs with the exception of my nas that now uses a 10G connection. I have a few devices that would greatly benefit from 10G and are wired to my 2.5g switch and was a pleasant surprise is that if they are running at their full 1G speed, its registering about 2G throughput on the nas through the 10G connection. Basically i fully eliminated the bottleneck from multiple devices wanting data at full speed and communication with the NAS.. so i think it's pretty sweet.TLDR get this if you are going run 10G RJ45 adapters - peace of mind - "120mm 5V USB Powered PC Router Fan"https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0814YW36D?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

This does exactly what it's supposed to do.I had a much more expensive QNAP switch with exact same features, but it died after 2 years of usage. This one does exact same thing for 1/3 of the price. If this product doesn't break after 2 years of usage, I'm going to become a long-term fan. I won't go back to QNAP, that's for sure.
