It took some time to assemble alone but it wasn't difficult - just many pieces. It was worth the effort though, I love the look of this and it is better than I imagined. I bought it to replace an entry way bench for more storage and also seasonal decor space (mostly for Christmas). The size is exactly what I need and its not too deep which makes it perfect for an entry hall. It has slow close doors - big bonus in my house - and well adjustable positioning for the hinges so the doors are well aligned without gaps or unevenness. because it gets used as a drop point so often I did add a protective layer of plastic (like non sticky shelf paper) to keep it clean and unmarked. It's gleaming white sooo....It's an attractive piece and doesn't look cheap imo. I've had several positive comments, even from strangers at the door!

The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is because this thing is a pain in the butt to put together correctly. All the complaints about putting the vertical shelves in the right way are silly because it's clear which way they need to go to get the back piece to slide in, HOWEVER, the instructions and tips on putting the doors on need to be more clear. When I first put the doors on, one stuck out more than the other and it was because I had to flip around the gray magnet piece at the top (they literally look the same either way you put them but apparently one side is shorter by like 2 mm LOL). And then toying with the screws on the door hinges to get it to open without rubbing, or the doors overlapping each other took hours.with all that said, it is beautiful and more sturdy than some other furniture I've seen. After getting it together I am happy with the purchase, and it effectively hides my kids toys so my Livingroom isn't overrun with toys anymore!

I would definitely recommend this cabinet! I used it in our entry room as an entry table & everyone who comes over says they love it! Instructions are pretty straight forward just takes a bit of time! Worth the money you’re spending on it! Isn’t too heavy and looks expensive. I’ve only had it for a week so not sure on wear on it.

This piece definitely has an expensive and high-end look and feel at an affordable price. It's spacious and fits really well in our narrow dining room. Overall it seems sturdy and well constructed. Thankfully unlike other reviews, our product wasn't damaged during shipping (just very minor scratches in certain areas but this was negligible).The main downside is that the assembly was pretty difficult and took several hours. One of the plastic pieces that was supposed to come within one of the wooden panels (not a labeled piece in the manual) was missing, and while there was a couple plastic replacements enclosed (I believe what are called cam lock fasteners) they had to be cut/modified to fit the wooden panel. The assembly process overall was pretty laborious so if you are looking for simple and quick, this wasn't it. Overall though no regrets, the sideboard is functional and has a fabulous esthetic.
