They work well. There really isn't much to say, it is a good deal and they work.

A palm-sized container of 1/8 inch, stainless steel ball bearings. They work pretty well. Do not use them over an open drain, though! The inner cap has holes in it, and I'm not sure why, but I leave the lid off after use hoping the air can still get to them in case I didn't dry them enough before putting them back.

I previously purchased the from Amazon, and they were great. I gave them to my Mom.Then I thought I'd save a few bucks and buy these cleaning beads from True Fabrications. My conclusion: stick with Riedel! These True Fabrications beads came in a plastic container that COULD NOT BE OPENED. The plastic top unscrews from the container no problem, but then there is ANOTHER cover that keeps the beads locked in the little container. That second cover cannot be removed, except perhaps by force. And if I forced the container open I'd then have to store the beads in a baggie or something. How difficult does this need to be?I called True Fabrications and spoke to a customer service representative. The best she could do was to look at pictures of the product online and describe how it is supposed to work. I, too, researched this product online to see if others were having the same frustration, but could find no customer reviews on any site. She refused to simply send me a box of beads that could be opened. So now I'll have to return this product to Amazon -- find some packaging, schlep to the post office, stand in line, and wait for a refund. In the meantime I'll buy another set of the Riedels. I suggest you save yourself the hassle and just start there (those beads work great at cleaning my handcut-glass decanters, by the way).An American company that can't manufacture what are basically ball bearings seems a new, and profound, low.
