We have a 10 year old ragdoll that has started to get occasional mats, and this is the best product we have found. He doesn't protest when we brush him. Brush goes through his fur easily and removes a ton of hair. We have bought several types of combs over last few years, and this one wins hands down.

My first medium haired cat- this product works amazingly at getting out that mattie undercoat. I was amazed the first few brushes. However, my cat doesn't tolerate it for very long. Perhaps she will get used to it. In any case she needs it and I'm happy I tried this out.

I work as a groomer. I just wanted to buy a cheap undercoat rake for home. The cheapest option on here that doesn't look questionable. Been using it on a husky mix, golden retriever mix, long haired cat (GENTLY as it is blades and cat skin is very fragile), Bernese mountain dog... It worked quite well each time. Especially for the price.

This easily removes our shepherd/Rottweilers loose undercoat, lots of it, seemingly pain free. She seems to enjoy being brushed with this
