Of course the 3 year old needed a mermaid birthday party. This really added to the fun.

I was so pleasantly surprised when I received this product! The fishing net is a great length to fit as a runner or even over a narrow table or dresser. The little seashells and starfish came in transparent pretty shades of blue, lavender, turquoise, and clear. They are also a good quality of plastic as opposed to other types I researched that were just paper cutouts.I was amazed at how many people gave negative reviews simply because they didn't bother to read the description and thought that they had received an incorrect number of items. If they had read carefully, they would've discovered that "2" referred to 1 net & 1 bag of shells and "4" referred to 2 nets & 2 bags of shells. I did take away 1 star, however, because this is a bit confusing and the net is actually tied at both ends, instead of hanging freely as shown in the photo, which is misleading. It also had a very strong odor when the package was first opened. Overall, this a wonderful addition to any beach-themed party and worth the price!
