Multiple problems with this locking nut. First, there is extra metal sticking up where the clamp screws go in, which means the pads can't sit flush with the nut, thus it's not possible to lock the strings down. Second, the holes where the wood screws go in we're not big enough for the screws to sit flush. Considering the price, I decided to fix these issues myself. The metal is pretty soft, so even once it was functional, the strings made indents into the metal. I can tell this would wear out quickly. Not recommended.

I bought a used 7 string left-handed guitar that had the nut still attached but was missing the string clamps. I needed something inexpensive that would fit and this package did the trick perfectly.It's important to note that this item is slotted for a right handed guitar, but the clamps can be used for lefties as well. It arrived quickly & took less than a minute to install. Im very happy & would buy again.

This product was an easy replacement, however it was not perfectly flush to the original, but not noticable unless felt, from what I can tell it hasn't effected tuning or playability in a negative way. If you need a replacement, this is the way to go.

Does what it does. Not much else to say. Slightly off size from authentic parts, and the screw holes don't quite line up, but it's very functional.
