I’ve had the leash for about a week now. I’m used to using regular short leashes and wasn’t sure how comfortable I’d be using this type. My large breed dog loves the ability to explore a little more on his walk now. The length is good, allowing him freedom but not too far and easy to bring him back in when needed. The leash itself moves very smoothly inside and has not twisted or got caught up inside. The stop button is smooth and can be sensitive. You don’t have to apply much pressure for it to engage. I don’t mind this though but I have accidently pressed it and stopped him unintentionally. It hasn’t locked up or given me issues and is easy to release . It’s on the heavier side but in a good way as it doesn’t feel cheaply made. Overall I would recommend others to buy!

Stabilt koppel med bra längd.Fungerar alldeles utmärkt till en stor hund.Gåvan som kom med för hundar som biter på kopplet var alldeles utmärkt med en valp som gärna just biter på kopplet.Väldigt nöjd

Leider klemmt die Leine bereits nach 4 Monaten, sodass man sie nicht mehr verwenden kann. Sie zieht die Leine nicht mehr ein bzw lässt sie nicht mehr raus.

We walk our 60lb Kentucky Mountain Cur twice a day and she tends to be an “active walker” so the extend/retract gets a good workout. There’s always something to check out up front and linger a bit behind to get the most sniffs out of before moving on.We rarely encounter other people or dogs on our walks given the area and time of day so having the extra length of lead gives her a bit more freedom to “roam”.The leash is sturdy, the locking mechanism activates quickly yet the unit is light enough but also feels strong. The bonus is our dog doesn't like the sound of the locking mechanism so a simple quick push of the button to make it click without fully engaging it and she will slow/stop her enthusiasm for a short while... until the next “oh, look at THAT” moment. It took her about 4 walks before she became accustomed to the sounds of the locking mechanism.Overall great leash for a good price. Been using it for about 6 weeks so can't yet speak to it's durability over time but I don't for see any issues. Four PAWS up!!Welllll - we liked this retractable so much we bought a second one in June to leave in the car.UNFORTUNATELY this one has a leash defect. The first 2 feet is fine but then the right side started fraying a bit and within 20 minutes approximately 6 feet has come apart (see picture).Totally not useable any more.Not impressed with this unit AT ALL.It’s just a one-off reject I’m assuming.I will return this and order another, but I’m wondering now about build/component quality in future.UPDATE: We contacted the manufacturer directly and with minimal explanation we were sent a free replacement in under a week!I have re-rated this product a full 5 stars.UPDATE : December 2023.We are still using the original leash (more than a year and a half now) and have had ZERO issues with it.Wet, slushy snow, muddy... it just keeps on working.... we extend and clean it off and towel dry it to prolong the ribbon life.Thoroughly pleased with this purchase.
