I installed these and two 12at same brand into my fender twin reverb reissue bought in about 1999. I had already replaced the power amp tubes with solvtek tubes a few months ago. These Started to break in after a few minutes of use. These are bright but are mellowing out very quickly.

Wonderful tunes. Put a set in my 1978 Hiwatt custom 50.and it had its old MOJO back. Strong, articulate, responsive, and no noise. Going to get a set for the Bedrock too.

I replaced the original JJ 12ax7 tubes with this matched set of TungSol tubes.They sound so good!Slightly less bright, yet nice and full.Great tubes for METAL!

OVERALL; Just a little different sound than other tubes on the market (for example Mullard); But really GOOD.

Sounds good, Quiet, very linear sound stage. upgraded from some Sovtek NOS tubes. I also have Psvayne coming in.
