Nice heavy gauge wire and a good quality connector. The included butt connectors are useless, use better ones. Will be happy to not have to remove trolling motor wires from the battery constantly.

12V 10 Gauge Trolling Motor Plug: Well constructed. There is a tight fit between the two halves of the plug which is needed to maintain the waterproof feature. Wire crimp connectors are supplied. Although this is designed to be installed in a boat's dashboard, it can also be used without a dashboard installation. The insulation is pre-cut near the end of the wires but the insulation has not been removed. This protects the wire until I am ready to pull it off and insert it into a wire connector. Looking forward to using this with my trolling motor.

I just picked up a used PowerDrive V2 trolling motor and didn't want to hard wire it to my boat. This makes the connection nice and easy. Best of all I can remove my trolling motor when not in use for a few days to keep it safe. It was very easy to install. Just cut a hole the right size, crimp the wires in place, and screw it to the deck of the boat in a good location for you. The only thing I wish was different was that the cables should be about 6 inches longer. But that is a personal thing for my situation. For most people it will work great. The guy that had my trolling motor before me cut the cables a little short. So I had to replace them before I was able to add this connector.
