If you want to make a couple of shorter Cat cables longer WITHOUT the expense of buying a longer cable, AND you want some "future-proofing", you are in the right place. I am fortunate to have both AT&T and Comcast fiber in my neighborhood so neither can get by with endless bill creep (and trust me, each one of them plays that game). I am perfectly happy with my 1Gbps rated speed and see no need to pay for higher (other than bragging). I decided to test each of these pass-through couplers. I used a secondary Core I7 PC that is hard-wired to my gateway. I tested the download and upload speed with the Cat 5e cable that it is connected with. The download speed was 931.41Gbps and the upload was 930.02Gbps. I disconnected the cable from the PC, hooked it to the first coupler. I then hooked a 15ft. CAT8 cable to the other end of the coupler and hooked that cable to the PC. I ran the speed test again and got 930.78Gbps download and 930.08Gbps upload. I repeated these steps with the second coupler and got 928.12Gbps download and 929.68Gbps upload. I then re-connected the original CAT5e cable to the PC, ran the test again and got 927.65Gbps download and 931.76Gbps upload. There is always going to be some variance there from test to test due to variances in network traffic and variances in my own house where multiple devices are connected AND pulling bandwidth. Overall, these two couplers are outstanding, and they deliver what they promise. I will probably not live long enough to outlast their usefulness.

J'ai récemment commandé ce coupleur Ethernet RJ45 et j'en suis très satisfait. Il permet d’assembler deux câbles sans perte de signal notable. La connexion est stable et le boîtier métallique protège bien contre les interférences. Facile à installer, il remplit parfaitement son rôle. À voir dans le temps la durabilité, mais en attendant, je recommande avec plaisir ![Mes critères de notation :En tant que membre testeur Vine, je prends mon rôle très au sérieux. Works well to connect rj45 to rj45. I am quite happy with it as it means I don't need to worry about having to buy an overly long cable or terminating a cable just for a temporary run. Cable continuity tester gave it all green lights and rj45 connect firmly within it.
