Adapters come separately packed in their own baggies as well as a user guide. I would have expected a box of some sort to prevent the adapters from knocking into one another.The adapter bodies are made of aluminum or some alloy with a nice finish that gives it a premium feel.They easily convert a USB-C ported laptop/computer/device so you can connect a USB-A cable, or drive to the device. Companies are moving away from the slower USB-A ports for the faster/higher powered USB-C interface. This will allow you to use your older cables on newer adapters/computers. You may not see an increase in data/power throughput, but at least you’d still be able to use your older devices/cables.It was able to convert an A to C cable into a USB-C connector so I could connect it to a newer & higher-powered USB-C power adapter without the need to plug in another adapter.I tested the power throughput of the adapter and found connecting it to my charging cable to a 100W power adapter. I was able to get 7.45W (4.78V x 1.56A) using the USB-A port on the charger and a peak of 8.41W (4.78V x 1.76A) when using the UGREEN adapter on the same cable, but on the USB-C port on the power adapter. So, it was able to get a bit more amperage for a faster charge.Testing the data throughput, I connected my external SSD drive to my laptop. With the drive directly connected to my laptop via the USB-A port, I was able to get a peak of approx. 269.22MB/s. Direct using its USB-C connection, a peak of approx. 448.29 MB/s. But I found that using the UGREEN A to C connector it was able to achieve 465.66MB/s, which was a bit funny as it was faster than the original test without the adapter. So, it looks like performance is not affected with the UBREEN adapter connected, or it actually improves performance, which is something I normally don’t see.Overall, I’ve used UGREEN products before and they were always high quality, and these adapters are no different and the adapter performance was excellent. It provided increased amperage for faster charging as well as increased data speeds, so I would definitely recommend this set of converter adapters. You may not need it now, but I can guarantee you’re going to need them and would be good to have in your pack. At the time of this review, it was priced at $17.99 for the set with an available 10% off coupon, so a decent deal to ensure cable compatibility with as many power adapters & computers as possible.

Si te ha pasado alguna vez como a mí, en las que por cierto, no han sido ni una ni dos, sino en muchas ocasiones, que te has quedado mirando un cable USB-A y un puerto USB-C con cara de “¿Y ahora qué hago?”, este pack de adaptadores de UGREEN es la solución a tu dilema existencial tecnológico.- Son pequeños, pero cumplen como campeones: convierte tu viejo USB en un flamante Type-C sin dramas ni líos de compatibilidad.- La velocidad de transferencia de 5Gbps no es un adorno, realmente se nota cuando pasas archivos pesados. Además, el acabado en aluminio no solo les da un toque elegante, sino que los hace resistentes al trajín diario. Y lo mejor, vienen en pack de cuatro (fantástico en mi caso), porque siempre se pierde alguno cuando más lo necesitas.Con el uso a diario que les doy, que no es poco, siempre acabo pensando que con esta compra he conseguido el pleno de las 3B's (buenos, bonitos y baratos). De modo, que no puedo estar más contento con ellos, y es precisamente por estos motivos, que no sólo se han llevado mis 5 merecidas estrellas, sino que además los recomiendo al 100% sin miedo alguno a equivocarme con dicha recomendación.En resumen: prácticos, rápidos y bien construidos. Si tienes dispositivos con puertos USB-C pero aún te resistes a jubilar tus cables antiguos, estos adaptadores te van a sacar de más de un apuro.Espero y deseo, que mi experiencia personal con estos adaptadores (de calidad sobresaliente), y la consiguiente opinión que tengo respecto a ellos, te haya resultado útil y haberte podido facilitar la mejor opción de compra posible.

USB C ist nun schon seit einiger Zeit der Standard für elektronische Kleingeräte wie Smartphones und Kameras. Elektronische Großgeräte wie Computer sind hingegen weiterhin oft mit USB A Anschlüssen ausgestattet. Um nicht ständig neue Kabel mit immer anderen USB Anschlüssen kaufen zu müssen, sind Adapter eine lohnende Alternative.StandardDie Adapter haben den USB 3.2 Standard (Thunderbolt), der extrem hohe Datenraten erlaubt. Kompatibilitätsprobleme sind mir nicht aufgefallen, da der (männliche) USB C Anschluss immer den höheren Standard erfüllt. Die Adapter sind prinzipiell nicht darauf ausgerichtet, proprietäre Kabel z.B. von älteren Digitalkameras an USB C anzuschließen. Angeschlossene Kabel sollten deshalb wohl stets mindestens den USB 3.0 oder besser noch 3.1 Standard erfüllen. Ich hatte bei meinen Tests allerdings keine Schwierigkeiten, ältere Kabel mit diesen Adaptern an USB C Buchsen anzuschließen. Ob ich dabei nur zufällig Glück hatte, dass es keine Kompatibilitätsprobleme gab, weiß ich nicht.VerarbeitungDie Adapter sind hervorragend verarbeitet und machen auf mich einen äußerst stabilen Eindruck.AbmessungenMit ihren 2,5 cm Länge, 1,4 cm Breite und 7 mm Höhe sind die Adapter sehr klein und handlich. Zugleich erhöht sich aufgrund ihrer geringen Größe die Gefahr des eventuellen Verlusts. Da macht es sich gut, dass man hier gleich vier von ihnen in einem Set bekommt, so dass sich der Verlust eines einzelnen Adapters leichter verschmerzen lässt.FazitDiese Adapter stellen die günstige Alternative zum Neukauf ganzer Kabel dar. Dem Nachteil der Verlustgefahr aufgrund der geringen Größe ist hier dadurch entgegengewirkt, dass gleich vier Adapter im Set angeboten werden.

J'ai reçu ce produit dans le cadre d'un test gratuit et impartial.Il est constitué de quatre petits adaptateurs USB-C vers USB-A.Déjà client fidèle à la marque UGREEN, j'ai toujours été très satisfait de leurs produits : celui-ci ne fait pas exception à la règle.En effet, ces quatre adaptateurs sont très bien finis.Leur corps en aluminium est à la fois solide et léger.Ils sont d'une couleur grise avec une subtile touche de bleu, représentative de la marque. Cette couleur et leur apprêt légèrement perlé leur confèrent esthétisme et élégance.Les connecteurs, métalliques, ne montrent pas de défauts visibles.Je les utilise principalement avec un McBook Pro récent.Pratique, je peux en brancher deux à côté l'un de l'autre, bien que les ports soient relativement rapprochés : ça passe sans forcer.Pour cet usage, le fait d'en avoir quatre est intéressant : j'en conserve deux à mon bureau et emporte les deux autres quand je suis en déplacement à l'extérieur et ça me permet d'utiliser en tout temps d'anciens périphériques sur mes ports uniquement USB-C.Pour les transferts de données, j'ai fait des tests avec un SSD externe : tout s'est passé comme attendu avec des transferts rapides et fiables.En conclusion, j'adore ces petits adaptateurs UGREEN que je trouve esthétiques, très pratiques et d'excellente qualité.

Like many others, I have a lot of old USB-A devices and flash drives that are still working and usable, except everyting has now gone to USB-C and I don't want to buy new drives. This is where this adapter comes in. I have used it on my Sandisk flash drives and Western Digital hard drives and they work wonderfully well on my MacBook Pro - I am able to transfer data smoothly and consistently without disconnects. The adapter is well built, small, solid and sleek. The adapter fits tightly to the cable and to my laptop as well. The data transfer seems the same as when using USB-A, and there is no noticeable performance hit when using this adapter.
