Legs were not quite even. Which was disappointing. The unit is plenty sturdy though, I'm not sure how other purchasers had it collapse. I cut off about 6.5 inches of the main tube, 4 inches off the internal tube and 5 inches off each leg. Finally I trimmed the foam pads on the legs by an inch and a half to turn it into a ukulele stand to match my guitar stand. Fun and doable afternoon project if you have a pop rivet gun (5/32), drill, pipe cutter, internal de-burrer and a saw (for the internal tube).

I own several Ultimate single guitar stands. I bought a ukulele stand from another manufacturer for my guitarlele. The guitarlele neck was too wide for the uke stand, so I returned it. I saw this and decided to try it. Works great and keeps my two favorite practice guitars close to my “fat man chair”. My wife actually suggested that I buy more of these stands, which is a rare occurrence when she encourages me to buy more gear…another benefit is that I never noticed the pick holders on my other stands until I was looking closely at this one.

Nice design, seems to be very stable, but put 2 guitars on it (LP/SG, LP/Flying V, Strat/Tele, or any combo of those) & the thing just collapses under the weight. Complete waste of money. I own other Ultimate Support products & I've always been impressed with them, not this.

I love that I don't have to bring 2 stands when I have 2 instruments along. I hang 2 mountain dulcimers on it, AND a ukulele (found an attachment that fits on this stand). It is very sturdy. My only nit is that the lock is a bit hard to turn, but it DOES work and the stand is a keeper!

i currently own 2 Ultimate Support GS-100 stands that i use for my banjos. i can't say enough good about them as Bluegrass Banjo's are very heavy, when i found out that the company made a stand for 2 instruments, i bought one right away. i have used it twice so far, and i must say that for playing on stage, they are perfect. I can put my longer 22 fret workhorse Bluegrass banjo as well as my 1930 Bacon & Day Long neck Irish Tenor banjo on this same stand without them clunking into one another, and they are easier to get to than with multiple stands on stage! great product!
