It is difficult to find slips that are not nylon, so I appreciate this culotte slip made of cotton knit. Especially great for summer wear, but OK for other seasons. The legs prevent chafing on my heavy thighs. And I like that the length can be quickly shortened. The legs fit loosely, which is good, but I wish they flared out more, to give a modest silhouette under thin unlined skirts, when standing in bright sunlight. When wearing a thin, translucent skirt, I may layer a regular non-culotte slip, A-Line, on top of this culotte slip. Overall a 5-star rating.

I hate wearing skirts/dresses, but now I attend some events that require dresses. This product has really changed the way I feel about having to wear a skirt now. I have no chafing, and my legs stay cool and dry (even walking a couple of blocks in humid D.C.). I'm comfy all day and evening in these. Very pleased with this product! Washes and dries well too.

I have tried other types of pettipants and had problems with them regarding fit and material. I bought a size L as I wanted to make sure they are roomy (I am 5'1", 148 lb) -- But these fit just right, waist not too high or low, plenty of room in the hips and legs, and not even too long! They are a light-weight, but not sheer, knit cotton, not like a T-shirt, but more like the cotton knit to make quality women's underwear (which makes sense). The lace is not itchy. If I could change one thing, it would be the waist band which is thin elastic. There is nothing wrong with it per se, and is probably made thin so as not to show under clothes. But I would have preferred something a little wider and flatter. But the pettipants will do what I want them to do, which is line some linen culottes I have that are a little sheer.

These cotton knit pettipants are a game changer for summer! My order of 3 pairs arrived right before leaving on a vacation, during an especially hot spell, and after trying them out, I ended up packing more casual cotton dresses than my usual capris, because of the benefit provided by these pettipants. They were so light weight that I hardly noticed them, and yet they served the purpose of a slip very well, and they prevented chafing. I was much cooler in dresses than I would have been in capris, which was a bonus. I walked a lot while wearing these pettipants, and they never bunched up, nor did they cling to my dress fabric. I've washed and air dried them, and they didn't shrink. I like the added feature of snipping to the length desired, though I haven't had a need to do so yet. I have many pairs of nylon pettipants, and 'll continue to wear them in the winter, but I like these cotton knit pettipants so much that I've ordered 3 more pairs!

These are so comfortable under my house dresses!The deduction of one star is because the waist band is very scratchy. I'm hoping it softens up over time.Otherwise, they fit well, launder well and perform exactly as I had hoped.
