The side mirrors on my 74 Saab 99 were really aged and wouldn't adjust up and down. I've gotten cheap side mirrors before, and they never really hold the mirror in place well. They re-adjust anytime the door is closed and shake around in the wind making them almost useless.Decided to budget more than $10 a mirror, but still feel like these were a very reasonable price.When these arrived, I was very surprised at the build quality. Being metal makes them just feel so sturdy. The mirror swivel itself is nice and firm, without being impossible to adjust.Install took about 5 minutes. The included template made it really easy to drill the hole in the door for the screw that slides in to the middle of the mirror. Was able to reuse a hole from the previous mirror for the front of the mirror (which provides most of the attaching strength to the door).Really happy with the much larger mirror, how solid it sits on the car and doesn't move around on the swivel on its own. As a bonus, it looks great as well. Really happy with this product.
