I used this to replace my blower motor in a 2012 chevy cruze. It wasn't as easy as everyone makes it sound. I have no mechanical education so I was really relying on the Haynes repair manual for my car and YouTube videos. It was honestly way too much work. You remove the negative cable so the airbag you remove doesn't blow up and kill you. But while you're at it replace the cabin air filter. Mine looked like something died in it and it was full of dried leaves. Next you need to remove a couple panels, air bag (knees) and remove about 20 different screws and bolts. I was so exhausted by the time I was able to get that stupid blower motor out I only put the majority of the screws back in. I wasn't expecting this to take so long but when everything was as put back as I could get it I put the negative cable back on, started the car and turned on the fan and it worked. It's much cheaper to do yourself but with all the hassle I should have just brought it to someone to fix at a shop. Sure I feel accomplished but my glove box wont close but atleast my car isnt fogging up or not freezing because the fan wont blow the hot air anymore. I lost the clips that hold the glove box in. I've ordered them and I'll deal with that next week. I'm just glad that fans working again.
