I love that this cake pan has a lid that connects securely. I can't say enough good things about USA pans. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Everything they make is awesome and incredibly easy to clean. I am slowly replacing all of my baking pans with the USA brand. It is totally worth the few extra dollars to buy USA pans. Seriously, don't buy any other brand until you experience one of these!!

When I first received this pan my impression was that it was not well made. I was wrong. It's handmade and I confused that with not well made. It's not a perfectly manufactured stone pan that you might see at Nordstroms of Sur La Table, but it is extremely well made. I decided to keep it figuring that it would be a back up pan. It quickly became my go-to pan for all things baking. The heat distribution and non-stick performance are best in class. I accidentally cracked it under the broiler - treatment that no ceramic or stone pan can withstand. Totally my fault. So I immediately bought a replacement. I highly recommend this pan!!!

This bread pan is well made. It is quite heavy, and also easy to clean. The heat distribution seems to be good, but it did take longer than expected to bake the zucchini bread I was making. I think it has to do with the density of the ceramic. I lined it with parchment paper, so that made for a pretty easy clean up. This is a nice piece I think will last a long time. The only thing I think would make it better, would be if it came with a lid.

This thing works! got good and hot for a crisp crust and no need for cornmeal to prevent sticking. I heat my oven to 450 for pizza. The non-stick coating on the stoneware is amazing. Not only did the pizza slide right off, the sauce and cheese that got baked on to the surface wiped off without a second thought.I have a more traditional pizza stone (no coating) which lives in my oven, it’s nicely seasoned and I will keep using it, but this new one from USA Pans will live there too...2 pizzas at a time baking? Yes please. Uber easy clean up? YES PLEASE! It’s a good weight too, sturdy but not heavy, so if you can’t store it in the oven, moving it back and forth is easy enough.The only less than positive I can comment on: when I first opened the packaging, the surface looked a little bit dusty and there were two barely there, faint finger prints...it wasn’t actually dusty though. The finger prints were sealed under the non stick coating...a real life hand made (artisan?) product. Which is fine by me. The company is here in the USA and make most of there stuff here in the US. Something I am very happy to support, even if it means a finger print signature.I recommend!
