This coffee maker works very well - it makes very hot coffee and is easy to use. The clear gauge allows for easy cups remaining capacity.

Product works as intended. Problem in that, although there is a max line inside and graduations on the outside, there is no information as to how many cups the graduations represent. Would be useful to also have some cup lines (say once every 20 cups) on the inside.

** Update** I used my coffee pots (maybe about 20 times each) from the time I got them. Today, I was at an event and and probably about 5 minutes in making coffee, it stopped working. The other one that I bought died yesterday at a different event. Paid $120 each and used them about 20 times comes out to be $6 per use. Absolutely unacceptable and not cost effective. Time to spend some money on a real commercial coffee pot.got two of these so I could serve coffee and warm spiced cider at a farmers market Using them for my purposes worked great. One brewed coffee and the other just heated up the spiced apple cider. Works great and easy to clean up.

If you have a large gathering of coffee drinkers or as I used it at a neighborhood fire company's Bingo hall, this coffee maker is a must. It has a sight glass that will let you know how much coffee is left in it. It doesn't need coffee filters, it has a tray that you dump your favorite blend in, and clean-up is easy and you don't have to worry about burning yourself on the hot grounds if the filter breaks while starting a new batch. It heats up quickly and then goes to a warm mode where it'll stay till it's empty and you turn it off. One really nice feature and one that I haven't seen on much more expensive coffee urns is a piece of metal that goes over the plastic pour arm. Then all you need to do is push your cup or mug up against it and it'll pour out the coffee. Release the pressure and it stops, with very little leakage. We just put a saucer underneath to catch any drips or those people who always seem to spill no matter how careful they are.Clean-up is a snap and if you save the box that it came in, it stores quite nicely till the next Bingo match.
