I had recently lost my dog and I just wanted something small that I could wear that would help me feel like he was still with me. This necklace did the trick! Call me silly if you want, but it helped my heart to feel like I was carrying his memory openly every day. About a month after I bought this necklace a friend of mine lost her dog and I gifted her the one I had been wearing to help her feel like she still carried her dog with her and the very next day I came back to Amazon and bought myself another. It's such a simple gesture but it helped my heart to feel a little lighter and this piece is very pretty and I've had many compliments on it! The words are hard to read, but the heart and the bone and the pawprint are clearly visibile and as the wearer of this piece, you know what the words mean! This is a great gift for someone who recently lost their dog.
