My daughter loves this cup so much. As a nurse it’s a good size for hydration.

I ordered this for my mother-in-law, who works outside in Louisiana heat. She had been bringing tons of water bottles and dealing with the fact that they were all hot by the time she got to them, so I ordered her this 40oz tumbler and a carrier to go with it so she could hydrate whenever necessary.She reports that this did great keeping her drink cool, even without putting ice in first, despite the Louisiana heat. Its 40oz size meant she didn’t need to bring additional bottles, etc. to stay hydrated.She described it as a “left-handed” cup, which I assume means that the sipping part faces you when the handle is in your left hand, but this didn’t bother her. However, the big lip on the lid did bother her.Ultimately, it’s still a huge improvement over what she had been doing, and she’s thrilled to have it at all. However, it was not a completely positive experience.

I got this to replace a tumbler that my husband commandeered. It's a nice tumbler and I would recommend it to anyone. Very giftable.Pros:+The construction is solid. The handle is secure and the lining is stainless steel.+The lid is secure and the opening is perfect sized for a straw. I haven't noticed any leakage, but I've also not knocked it over to test it. It has a little window/slider that would close the opening.+It holds the temp well. I filled it about 1/4 with ice and about 3/4 full of water. It was still ice cold 10-12 hours later.Cons:-It does not have a non-skid bottom. Not only would this be good to keep it upright or from sliding, but it would protect the furniture. I like to keep a tumbler of water at my bedside at night and while I have a coaster, it sure would have been nice to have a silicone bottom in case I missed the coaster in the dark. Instead, I had to purchase a separate silicone "boot" to do what should have been inherent in the tumbler.
