I got the VE10 model, to store my handgun in. Overall it's a pretty ok safe and I really like the fact that the rechargeable battery is easily user-removable (something that is unfortunately lacking in many modern products) and can be replaced with any aftermarket 18650 battery by any brand, so this safe can last way past the lifespan of the original rechargeable battery.However, there's a pretty annoying design flaw - the charging port for battery is located on the front side area of this safe, which can easily get in a way even with its angled micro-USB connector on the included charging cable. I don't even understand what type of thinking went through the minds of people designing it - normally most of the users will place this safe on some flat surface (table/nightstand/closet shelf), with its back area against the wall, so the only logical placement for the charging port would be towards the back area, not towards the front. Also, it's 2025 already, start putting USB-C ports on things. Yea, it may cost you a dollar more to use this type of connector instead of cheaper micro-USB connector, but you can just increase the price of your product and none of the people will care about such tiny price increase in an exchange for using modern, most future-proof USB port standard.

Bought this to keep kids away from my CCW and it works perfectly. It’s not a “safe” that will keep loads of cash or values safe from a fire and it would take much with a hammer to open it up but it’s perfect for keeping young kids safe

This is the one! Put the cable around the bed frame and leave this on the nightstand. This is the one I wish I had bought before I got all the others in the house.

I bought this after my first child was born. It is sturdy and made well. The lid opens quickly and I like the interior light. If you have children in the house this is a great safety measure. I have more peice of mind now that my firearm is secured but also quickly accessible. I would recommend practicing entering your code. You need to push the buttons deliberately and smoothly. If you do it too fast it will not work. Just something to get used to. All in all a great product and well made.
