This is one of those products that you probably never thought of needing, but you could definitely find a use for. Aside from the ease of installation, this thing comes loaded with a ton of other features. Mine is installed in a standard light fixture directly above my office desk, and it circulates the air in an unobtrusive way that makes it very comfortable. It comes with a wireless remote that controls fan speed and timer options, as well as light intensity and type of light (sunlight simulation, room light, etc.). I usually just have it set so that the fan and light go on (and stay on) when I flip the room light switch. It is not "silent" but it is quiet. Recommended.

We put this in our camper over the bed and that way we did't have to have a fan setting on something taking up room. Loved that idea. It would have been a great idea but after the second night was making a lot of noise. We couldn't send it back because of the 1 month return policy. We didn't go camping within the time frame. We liked the size of the fan and very easy to install as it screwed in like a light bulb. The light was a good feature along with the remote. BUT did not last even one weekend.

We live near the beach where mildew is a close relative. As a result, we need air in motion to dry out the shower and shower curtain as well as the towels in the bathroom. We've used table fans on the floor for years. Lately my wife says she doesn't want to use that fan anymore so I wondered if anyone had a ceiling fan for a bathroom. I searched and read a lot of reviews, settling upon this one.I must say it has been great. Our ceiling lights are in an appliance that used to house a fan and two lamps. Now I've relocated an exhause fan and, with the adapter for this fan, mounted it just outside the appliance. It puts out a surprising amount of air on high speed and the options on the remote are fantastic. The light is very bright and one can choose the particular type light, from warm to daylight plus the dimmer works well.The timer works perfectly for having the fan on at bedtime. I set it for 4 hours and it's off when I get up in the middle of the night.One small issue is noise. Sometimes when it starts, it seems a bit noisy but that noise dissappates fairly quickly so that after only a few minutes it's pretty quiet again.A good buy for sure.
