The dress is exactly as described. The material is soft, and the fit is flattering. 5'5", 250 pounds (weight carried in hips and thighs), bra size 42DD (a minimizer bra makes the top of the dress appear even more flattering, if that were possible.) Purchased in color Lake Blue. The color in the picture is the same in person. Typically wear a size 2XL, but purchased a size 3XL because I feared it would run small and be too clingy. Exact opposite. I could return it for a size 2XL, but I am happy with the fit - I'm comfortable in it, and since I have to wear it, that is all that matters. My personal preference is to not wear any clothing that is fitting or draws attention to my physical shape and size. The dress drapes nicely without looking like a tent and yet does not hug so tightly that every inch is magnified. Wearing with maroon ankle boots to an outdoor wedding in the spring.I have not purchased a dress in years. I am so happy I chose to purchase this dress. I hope this review helps someone else take a chance and that they find themselves wearing this beautiful dress.

This dress was perfect for a dressy Christmas Party. It was flattering. The arms are perfect length for those who like to cover their arms. If you seek modesty, you may want to use a safety pin on the chest as it cuts low. I think it could be worn dressed down, too!

I ordered this dress for a wedding. I was excited to get this dress, but I had a big realization once it arrived. I am definitely not shaped like the woman who modeled it, but that’s okay! I am 5’9 about 200 lbs. I felt like it fit me like PJS and wasn’t really feeling myself in it. However, once I arrived to the wedding I got SO many compliments. So I ended up feeling myself in the end.
