Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. This dress is a lovely cut across the waist and hips, but the material isn't great quality.My biggest issue is the sleeves - there is an elastic sewn into the bottom of the sleeve, making it into a balloon shape. The elastic is so narrow that it causes the sleeves to poof up like a bad Disney costume.I'm going to try to cut the elastic out and re-hem the sleeves and see if that looks a little better.

Beautiful dress and very pretty pale blue. I have two weddings back to back and I thought this color was perfect for spring. The material is a good quality and heavier than expected, however the dress shows everything and for my mid-aged body it will take some serious undergarments to fix this. It is absolutely more form fitting in the rib cage or mid section but the size of an XL does fit me. I normally wear a L or XL and I opted for larger. Good thing. The elastic on the arms, I didn't find very tight. They are comfortable on me. The V neck is seriously low but oddly you can wear this front or back and the back is a normal plunge. That is actually a great option. The issue with the zipper is real. It bulges. As a sewer it appears the zipper was probably not incorporated properly. I do love this dress and color and with shapewear and possibly running over to the local seamstress to see if she can fix, I may end up wearing it. I don't think this issue would be so prominent in a dark color btw. So I do love the dress but it has its drawbacks.

I went with a L instead of M to accommodate my broad shoulders. Dress looked beautiful but I could tell it was way too big. Returned for a smaller size and hoping for the best bur shipping is taking FOREVER.Material is EXCELLENT, thick but still drapes beautiful. Good construction. You will need to steam it. If you expect a satin dress to not wrinkle in an Amazon package, that's on you.No stretch.

When the tag says medium, what they really mean is small. I am a true medium usually across-the-board. I should’ve bought a large. My (small to extra small sized) teenage daughter said that it would fit her while she was zipping me into this size medium dress. That being said, the quality is great. There is no stretch in anywhere except maybe the top portion (sleeves included). There is a zipper on the side as you can see. It is bunching up on me. The sleeves are lovely. Material feels really nice and luxurious. It feels like a very expensive dress. The color is divine with these black boots it’s giving wicked. I’m wearing shorts under this dress. The material is a good thickness overall. Needs a can of static gaurd.
