Okay so I read the reviews and bought it anyway. I figured it can't be that bad, it just needs some calibration. My unit delivered was 12 degrees out of square (fence to rail, the laser can be adjusted). So okay if you can work with that so be it.But the other issues I found was that the unit can only snap in the absolute forward position. So if you think you will we doing any compound U cuts with the grinder on the short sides and score/snap the long cut think again. It also doesn't have a way to retain the snapping leg out of the way to view the cutting wheel and ensure accuracy. The fold-able support arms are way too short and probably could have had twice as many, and should have magnets on the end to help them stow away. One positive is that cutting wheel actually is sharp, true, and works. Its like a diamond in the rough... everything about this tool is questionable except the tile cutting wheel itself is flawless.Still going to return it and spend the extra for a quality tile cutter. The large tiles this is supposed to cut cost so much that once you waste 2 or 3 tiles you've spent the difference for a brand name cutter anyway.

Very difficult to cut tile, support arms are very flimsy and don’t support tile properly.

I rate it as a 5 star equipment: I used it to cut large (24x47x0.5), awfully hard and pretty expensive porcelain tiles. After I broke quite a few of them and blame the equipment (and wanted to get rid/return it), I realized that I should change the method of using it. All went well after that: no breakages, perfect cuts. A couple of things that helped me. Maybe someone out there will find them useful:- patiently score the tile a few times on the same line (I did it about 5-7 times) without excessive force(if you apply excessive force the tile will break). The instruction that comes with the equipment says score only one time. For my tiles that was insufficient.- work in an area with good lighting in order to see if the score is relatively deep and even along the score line- when applying the pressure to break the tile wait a couple of seconds (sometime the tile break write away, sometime after 1-2 secs). A couple of times the tile didn't fracture on the whole 4 ft length and I needed to reverse the tile.

This cuts 4x2ft tiles, the white ones with the glossy surface will be more difficult, you will need to do one nice Passover or 2. If it don’t want to snap the first time do the second Passover and it will snap easily Like butter. If it’s feeling like it’s to much pressure you need to cut it harder when passing over the tile, done correctly it feels like nothing when it snaps a 4 footer across.Needs to be on a level flat surface, a decent amount of pressure needed to work it. My Laser guide works you just need to figure how to calibrate it without too much strain on the screws holding the thing In place. Still cool it’s has a laser but if you don’t like it take It out stomp on it and throw it away. Overall this thing is cool but it better last I’m in middle of a huge project it’s got a lot of work to do.

Le falta calidad a sus piezas pero por el precio considero que está bien

The guide is not like the picture it only slides but doesn’t allow for angle , it came out of the box 1/4 inch out in the full length cut so make sure you check before running the machine but it’s light yet sturdy for its size I was worried about it being flimsy, at this price it’s buyer beware and understanding what your buying a little bit of prep is expected , also the wheel seems good how long it will last will let you know after these next 2 jobs
