Ordered from the US manufacturer, via Amazon and arrived five days later with foc delivery.I noticed that a couple of the footswitches were a little loose, so tweaked them up with an adjustable spanner, registered the product, plugged in the usb lead to my PC, and fired up YouTube.It worked immediately. It's very easy to get to grips with and is proving to be a fantastic aid to learning guitar licks and techniques from YouTube. Also handy for learning any tricky procedure, such as DIY or model-making, particularly if you need to keep your hands free at the same time.It's expensive for sure. But it's made in the USA and I don't know of of any alternative. I dropped on star because I think the price could have been a little better.Still, if you can afford it, buy it. You won't regret it.

I see many negative reviews, mainly on set up and use. Not with me... My Vidami was delivered a half hour ago. I went to the web site on my desktop and at the same time also on my laptop. I opened the box plugged in the unit check to make sure the extensions were downloaded (I always us Chrome so maybe this could be an advantage). Plugged in my guitar into my amp, went to youtube, picked a video, then went though all the options with the pedal, Speed. Loop, Back, Play and Forward. All worked exactly as I hoped and as stated. My advice is ensure that you read the instructions, open the web site in Chrome, install all extensions available then enjoy. Very happy I purchased and highly recommend. Just a note I went to the Hotel California lessons, very easy to follow and learn with the Vidami.

The metal case is about twice as study as it needed to be- WAY stronger than most actual guitar effects pedals.I use Windows 7, and it worked flawlessly ( yes- FLAWLESSLY ) with CHROME, about 5 minutes after taking it out of the box. My 1st demo was YouTube of guitarist JOE ROBINSON, playing his version of 'Misty' on a vintage green Gretsch electric. I effortlessly started the loop of Joe's amazing harmonics- pinging all 6 strings.Then I slowed the loop down, to 1st click. The video quality stayed THE SAME, and the pitchof his instrument remain true to original pitch.Clicked it a 2nd time- video remained perfect, you could see what his fingers were doing with WAY betterperception . . . and the audio remained true to pitch! ( There are 5 steps of available reduction in video playbackplay back speed . . . . . .and even to the very slowest speed, the audio was only slightly grainier, but still 100% intelligible! Video remained stunning at slowest speed. )This controls CHROME with intuitive ease, and is stunningly precise. ( I wish this came out when the CHROME browser 1st became available . . . . but once you spend 10 minutes with it, you will use it the rest of your life! )When I read the very first product description, I expected the pedal to cost $499. When I got to the bottom,and it said $149 . . . . I waited 2 whole days to order it. From beginner's beginner- to advanced expert player-everybody can improve their playing if they play along to the looped video- ie PRACTICE. This beats looking at printed dots on a page all day long- and thousands of potential teachers- every imaginable playing style-for free. I keep it on the desk, next to the mouse. ( If it is looping, you have time to put your hands back on the guitar !! )I have had it for 3 days now, and see NO DOWNSIDE.

I'm a 72 year old guitar player who started on the instrument around the age of 12. I have been through a lot of pedals over the years. I ordered this unit after watching a YouTube Video by one of my favorite Guitar Players on the site. Walter Rodrigues Jr. demonstrated the device and I immediately ordered it. It arrived and after opening the package I could see it was of very heavy duty construction. Some of my other pedals do not look or feel as durable. I installed it following the very easy instructions and was up and running in no time. I took the liberty of watching the companies own "support videos" and found them very helpful. Everything worked exactly as described. Since they are a new company with this device I sent an email to their support team to comment on my satisfaction. I received a quick response back both by email and a phone call from their co-founder and CEO with great interest in my user experience. She was very pleasant, personable and made me feel comfortable with my purchase decision and any support I may need in the future would be there. I highly recommend this device for musicians of all levels to help guide them through the learning process. It's like having personal control with the time and patience to work at what ever pace is comfortable at any hour of the day or night. High marks to Vidami and I look forward to seeing what other innovative products they may introduced in the future.Very Satisfied.Carl C

I’m really enjoying this video looper. With tons of tutorials on YouTube it really helps with whatever you are learning. Don’t limit yourself to music. I’ve used it to breakdown plumbing and HVAC instructions as well.One star taken away because the build quality is just OK. The first one I received had a broken button and had to be returned and replaced. Amazon was great. The return was easy. Since then, I’m using a light touch on the pedal buttons.
