Using a camera v2.1. Nothing is holding the camera in place. The pins and alignment all work. Just nothing to fix it in position. When closing the case, the camera immediately falls back into the shell making it unusable. I like the case overall, just really wanted it for the camera shell.

Case came assembled and was surprisingly difficult to open. The pi v3 camera module fits in the case but is not secured. It is easily moved around. Case should have a way of securing the camera. There isn't an easy way to tape the camera in place given the tight dimensions and little contact area. It seems like glue would work best

Pro: possibly the only inexpensive(ish) pi zero case that lets you install both a camera (official only) and a heatsink (passive on top of the CPU). Kudos for that.Pro/con: The camera doesn't stay snapped into the case particularly well; you'll need double-sided tape to secure it. On the other hand, the zero both stays secured and comes out easily, which is important since there's no other way to access the SD card than pulling the board out. (Which I like, it eliminates another hole in the case.)Cons: they give you three tops including a fully sealed one, but only one bottom which has a big cut out for the header - not that this case is e.g. waterproof, but the board's not particularly well-protected either.Camera mount accepts only official-sized camera, odd dogbone design makes it impossible to adapt to larger camera boards.Quality is decent but feels a bit expensive for what you get.

Really well made case with lots of different options, will be nice because I'm always changing configurations around.Would definitely buy again.

So depending on the heatsink you use there might be an issue when using this case to hold a pi camera v3 module. If the heatsink is ever so slightly too tall then you might run into the issue where it touches the back of the camera module and causes an electrical short. This can easily be resolved with some electrical tape being placed on the back of the camera module or using a shorter heatsink and hot gluing the camera module to the top part of the case. Overall a very good case though
