These came quickly, were not damaged, and were actually fun to put together. The lampshade on one of my bedside sconces broke and instead of buying two new sconces I just replaced both lampshades. These were 3” taller and 1” wider than the old shades but they look great. I think the scale is better with my king sized bed. Within minutes of getting these in the mail I had them together and installed. I like the texture and warm color. And the shade isn’t flimsy, it’s durable. Besides some texture, which I prefer, they should be easy to clean as well.

Review for: Beige Linen Small Drum Lampshade, 8.66" Top x 8.66" Bottom x 7.87" High Lamp Shade, Lamp Shade ReplacemThis was ok to put together. Just clip the cover into the clips and velcro the two ends together. Not too hard.I had some difficulty putting the adapter in, since my lamp has a harp and finial, and the plastic was tough to get into the wire framework.I may try to cover up the white plastic with something that looks better. For a small table lamp, people will be able to see that ugly white plastic adapter and it really doesn't look very good.As a Vine reviewer I try to provide good information. My scale:Most things will start at 4 stars.It gets that extra star only if it is outstanding.It loses stars for issues- bad sizing, poor quality.One star if is is not suitable for purpose or for gross misrepresentation.

Beige Linen Small Drum Lampshade, February 2025This lampshade looks surprisingly nice for something that clips together in a minute. It's not quite as nice as something that you might see in a store but unless somebody looks closely at it, they wouldn't know the difference.The shade portion comes rolled up to save shipping space. I found that some of the tight roll was still in evidence even when attached to the rings. I'm expecting that to relax and smooth out more over time. I'll retighten the velcro closure then to get a bit more overlap to more fully hide the velcro.Unfortunately, one of the clips seems to pull the rim of the shade in and over the ring. This makes it look like the rim is dented even when it isn't. Thankfully, it's one of the clips near the seam to I can turn the seam and dented section to the back and nobody else will know.While this shade is the right size according to many industry standards, the configuration isn't quite right for my lamp which needs a deeper offset. I've got an adapter on order to see if I can make it work that way.All-in-all, I would recommend this to someone looking for a quick and easy lampshade solution. I would also recommend they put it together right away in case it needs to be returned or replaced.
